Jennifer is self taught in the process of enameling, though has formal training in gold smithing and gem stone setting. As a more affordable way to add color to wearable metal, this process keeps her artistic fire alive, while being able to share her art with those who find her. The process of vitreous enamel dates back to China and Egypt, where powdered glass is sifted onto metal and then kiln or torch fired until fusing. Jennifer's pieces are torch fired on copper and finished with hand formed silver ear wires.
